Joshua "JD" Walker is a Los Angeles–based record producer, songwriter, and mix engineer whose decade-long career spans the full spectrum of modern music — from Afrobeats and R&B to pop, hip-hop, and country-trap. His genre-spanning discography and instinct for commercial sound have made him one of the most versatile producers working out of North Hollywood today.
JD's breakthrough came with his work on Burna Boy's critically acclaimed album African Giant, where he co-wrote and produced "Show & Tell (feat. Future)." The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album and an RIAA Platinum certification — establishing JD as a world-class collaborator capable of operating at the highest level of the industry.
His credits extend to some of music's most iconic names: Cher, Jason Derulo, Ne-Yo, and Kylie Minogue. Each collaboration reflects JD's ability to serve the artist's vision while elevating the material with precision production and songwriting craft.
Beyond major-label work, JD is deeply committed to independent artist development. His partnership with Austin Martin — a country-trap artist he helped develop from the ground up — generated over 30 million streams and 1 million monthly listeners in just 12 months, ultimately leading to Austin's signing with Foundation Media, a Sony Music Company.
